Wasps slash intellectuals

I can tell that my brain has has enough for the day when something like the image below comes out. My "anatomy of a wasp" idea was too hard to render in such a way that I wouldn't be embarrassed to send it to the printer but somehow I came up with the 2010 Man-Wasp Peace Accord. I think this is the sort of plan a man ought to sleep on.

Perhaps more saleable is my "sensitive intellectual" shirt, it features an owl, my favourite beast.

Thanks Sketchbook Pro for being a program on my computer that I can draw in.

Given the title of this post, I was sorely disappointed to find that there were no images of wasps slashing intellectuals.

I would totally wear the Sensitive Intellectual shirt to my physics journal club.

The Sensitive Intellectual design makes me want to sell my computer and buy a tshirt. That is, if I were poor enough to have to do that. And it is a close thing.

Re: visually depicting a burgled home: a burglar doing one of various burglar-y things? Tiptoeing about, kicking in a door, climbing out a window? I do not know the ways of burglars, perhaps I should do some field research.

...I quite like McGinty and Hughes, it is a pity about their tshirt incompatibility. (And I stand by my love of I Done a Murder!)

Yes, Sensitive Intellectual is great. Not sure about any of the wasps. The burglary one could just have a burglar's face peeping over the top or in the middle or something. You'd know he's a burglar because of the mask over his eyes and the striped jersey.

McGinty and Hughes are still brilliant characters, because you know everything you need to know about them just from the original drawing. But no, they're not a T shirt.

I like the wasp-human peace accord concept but I cannot imagine any negotiated conclusion to that war unending.

Sensitive Intellectual is certainly a fine design, but I would feel a fraud for wearing it when I have never read Proust. Now if he was referring to Wittgenstein...

Also, the many employees of the severely recession-hit Chandelier replacement industry will be entirely indebted to you if you were to t-shirt the "Swashbuckling" design.

Or maybe you did and i missed it.

But if you didn't you should. You could even combine it with the "Badger Attack" to create a "Swashbuckling badger attack" T-shirt that not only satisfied two demographics simultaneously but also, within the union of the two, conceal a reference to the dramatic bit near the end of "The Wind In The Willows" where they... well, I won't spoil it for anyone.

I would definitely buy the Sensitive Intellectual shirt for my boyfriend and then steal it as often as possible.

I have always been a sensitive intellectual, and I never knew it until this moment.

Do want.

I thought he was saying "Prousty". Which would kind of be funnier. Like, you know, "mmm, Prousty.."

No?

I'll get my coat.
